Historical Buildings

Boissevain is a community with a rich heritage that is treasured by its inhabitants.

The heritage buildings walking tour is designed to share a portion of that history with visitors and lead them on a storied and scenic trip through the past and into the present.

This tour features many of the community’s most beautiful dwellings, storefronts and businesses along with some notable points of interest. As you walk you may also enjoy the murals for which Boissevain has become famous and some of the flowers, trees and green spaces that have given Boissevain international distinction in the Communities in Bloom competition.

Please download the guide and map to your right to navigate your way on this 3.6 km (2 mile approx.) tour and be sure to take some time to soak in the rich and beautiful history that surrounds you. For those choosing to drive the route please proceed with caution and be respectful of other drivers.
